The PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR
Agata Stêpnik-Siara
The coordinator of the project and editor-in-chief of the
series. She is the Program Director of the PROLOG School of
Languages, a teacher of German and a teacher of Polish as
a foreign language. She is responsible for research and implementation
of modern teaching methods of foreign languages. She is keen
on different cultures and likes learning languages. She is
interested in natural medicine.
PROLOG Language School (www.prolog.edu.pl;
www.polishcourses.com) is a
private language school which has provided professional Polish
language tuition for 10 years. The school also specializes
in teaching English and German. The international team of
teachers at the school is an example of multi-lingual European
ideal. Contribution to the project: project coordination,
coordinating the work of the four institutions, evaluating
existing materials for teaching Polish as a foreign language,
preparing and testing materials for the course book, work
book, teacher's book and CD recordings, publishing and distributing

This University department is known throughout the world and
specializes in teaching Polish as a foreign language, offering
Polish language courses at various levels as well as methodological
workshops for Polish teachers. Contribution to the project:
a consultative role in the selection of preparation materials
for the certificate examination, testing materials, evaluation
of materials at the work-in-progress stage.

Contribution to the project: evaluating the project at various
stages of development, developing relations with institutions
in Germany and Austria that teach Polish as a foreign language,
help with the preparation of the German language version of
the student's reference book.

THE BRASSHOUSE CENTRE BIRMINGHAM
(www.birmingham.gov.uk/brasshouse),
the largest foreign language teaching center in Birmingham,
provides courses in 25 languages, including Polish at various
levels. Contribution to the project: evaluating the project
at various stages of development, developing relations with
institutions in Britain that teach Polish as a foreign language,
help with the preparation of the English language version
of the student's reference book.
